BRONX ARTS ENSEMBLE RECEIVES GRANT FROM PARTNERSHIP FOR AFTERSCHOOL EDUCATION FOR PROGRAMS FOR BOYS OF COLOR
(Bronx, NY) The Bronx Arts Ensemble has received a grant from PASE (Partnership for Afterschool Education) to implement programs for boys of color grades K to 12. Among 12 nonprofit groups selected, the BAE will work within the PASE framework to focus on identifying and strengthening protective practices that support boys of color in elementary, middle and high school with programs in afterschool settings. PASE is a child-focused organization that supports and promotes quality afterschool programs, serving vulnerable young people from underserved communities.
David Nussenbaum, Executive Director of the BAE commented, “I am delighted about this new grant. It will help the Bronx Arts Ensemble fund quality afterschool programs for boys of color which will help them reach their full potential.”
