EDWARD BREWER
An active performer in the New York area for more than 35 years harpsichordist EDWARD BREWER performs regularly in the city's concert halls. His affiliations include Amor Artis, The Oratorio Society of New York, The Bronx Arts Ensemble, the Fairfield Chorale, and the Discovery Orchestra. He performed for many seasons in Westchester with Philharmonia Virtuosi, and he was founding music director of the Soclair Music Festival in New Jersey, which recently completed its 30th season.
As a recording artist Mr. Brewer has over 30 recordings to his credit, including solo and chamber music collaborations as well as six Handel operas with the Brewer Chamber Orchestra. He can be heard on CBS Masterworks, Newport Classics, Nonesuch, Vox, ESS.A.Y., DGG, Decca/EMI, and MHS.
