On Sunday, August 29th Bronx Arts Ensemble presented Incidental Music for Strings on the Van Cortlandt House Museum lawn.
The BAE String Quartet performed both classical and contemporary favorites. The performance included Mozart’s masterful string quartet number 17, “The Hunt,” to William Grant Still’s “The Sentimental One”, along with a piece from Joe Hisaishi, the celebrated composer of Studio Ghibli.
Thank you to those who joined us, it was great seeing our audience members in person! This event was one of BAE’s first live performances since the 2020 shutdowns. We are carefully monitoring health and safety regulations and hope to continue bringing free live concerts to the Bronx
